July 15 - The Durbin Rocket
This train is called the Durbin Rocket and gives tourist rides along the Greenbrier River in Durbin, West Virginia. I posted an image of the engine last week. The engine is one of only three operating Climax geared logging locomotives on earth. Built in 1910, this 55-ton antique pulls an authentic 1920s-era coach and vintage wooden cabooses.
