Sept 12 - Amish Family
There are two little girls in the back of the wagon, but one was playing with her blue blanket in the wind. I was taking the picture through the windshield while my husband was driving and the little girl never put the blanket down.
The wagon was at the top of a hill about to go down the other side. My vantage point was from the passenger side of a truck behind and below them on the hill. This is why the wagon appears "to be high". I couldn't get the road in the shot because the truck's dash and hood was in the way.
This was taken in Ohio around Millersburg, Charm, and Sugar Creek area. I live about 2 hours away.
Thanks so much for all your comments on the Amish images I have been posting these past few days!

on September 13, 2013Super candid photo of the family. Given the constraints of shooting through the windshield, past the hood of a car, I can live without the road showing in order to have the rest of the shot.

on September 13, 2013Like the angle, shooting up, but agree with Paul that it would have been nice to have had a bit of road at the bottom to ground the image,
