Aug 15 - Quilt still life
The quilt in the background of this image is the work of 4 generations. My great grandmother pieced the bow-tie squares. My grandmother stored the squares in her hope chest as she wasn't a sewer or quilter. My mom put the squares together in a quilt top and I hand quilted it!
