July 6 - Into The Wind
These are some wild mustangs from a small band in the North Dakota badlands of Theodore Roosevelt National Park. I was lucky enough to see more than one band of horses and their stallions in one day! This group was standing up high on a hill overlooking their territory. The stallion was off to the side by himself watching his band.
I love their roan colors.

on July 7, 2017This is so well done! Those wild horses are so gritty, yet they symbolize a freedom that I think we all yearn for.
